Touring choir Auditions

 

Maranatha Touring Choir Auditions occur during the Recruitment Party (early December) and the first month (January) of the start of the touring season practice. Prospective members need to come to the practices starting in January from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  We meet at Kingdom Baptist Church, located at 1717 Stafford Ave., in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

 

During this time most of the college members are still on their Christmas break and in the area to attend the first couple of practices. This gives new and prospective members the opportunity to meet most of the other choir members and to get a feel for what to expect.

 

There is a $25 administration fee paid at the audition, which is applied towards the members $475

choir obligation.  Please fill out and sign these member application documents prior to arrival for

Once accepted as a choir member, a $100 payment has to be made towards the members’ financial

obligation.  This $475 obligation covers all expenses for the year including, music, T-shirts, dresses,

 ties, drama costume, pictures, refreshments, and tour related expenses.   After the initial $125

payment, the remaining $350 obligation breaks down to $70 per month, for the remaining five

months leading up to the July tour.  The financial obligation can be paid in full at anytime prior to

the first Saturday in June, when due.

 

Throughout the touring season, we will have opportunities for fund raising, to assist members with 
satisfying their financial obligation. Many of the members are able to meet their entire financial 
obligation through the fundraising opportunities.
