About The Directors
Justin Womack - Musical Director
Justin is a past member of the Maranatha Touring Choir who sang in the choir up until he graduated from Florida State University, in Tallahassee, Florida. There he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Commercial Music. While earning his degree he performed with the Florida State University Singers and founded Reverb an all male A Capella group. Justin is currently working on his Masters in Special Education. He is a freelance arranger/composer, and sings with the Maranatha Gospel Choir.
Kristine Clifford - Accompanist
Kristine Clifford earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a major in Flute and a minor in French Horn. She taught elementary music in Spotsylvania County before working for an insurance company handling homeowner claims. Currently, she is employed at Morton-Massey, Inc, a family owned business. Kristine has taught private piano and flute lessons and was a member of The Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg for 9 years. She is in her 19th year as Choir Director at Christ Episcopal Church in Spotsylvania where she leads the Adult and Children's Choirs as well as Children's Chapel. In addition, she is a founding member of The Fredericksburg Ayres, flute quartet and The Post Oak Baroque Trio. Kristine has been a guest performer with local ensembles including The Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg, The St. Paul's Masterworks Chorus, and at The National Museum of the Marine Corps at Quantico. She is the piano accompanist for Maranatha 2nd Generation and Maranatha Touring Choir and is also a member of the Maranatha Gospel Choir. Kristine and her husband, Steve, live in Spotsylvania with their three children, Hunter, Hannah Lovell & Colby.
Rebekah Rochte - Drama Director
Rebekah Rochte has been associated with Maranatha Touring Choir since 2005. She is currently concluding her studies in Anthropology and Religious Studies at The College of William and Mary. In addition to her academic interests, she is heavily involved with the music and theatre communities, including membership of the professional music fraternity Delta Omicron and four years of performance with Sinfonicron Light Opera Company. Her other credits include two improvisational troupes, a number of productions with WM's student-run Shakespeare company, and singing with The Christopher Wren Singers, the William and Mary Women's Chorus, and the Botetourt Chamber Singers.
